And now for some mish-mash of Cambodia, including Siem Reap and Phnom Penh!
First of, the food was amazing:
| This is Amok - coconut cream with curry and fish. Amazing, my fav by far! |
| Some night market deliciousness. |
| Nom nom nom. |
| Nothing is better than night markets. |
So now that we're all full (or actually salivating, at least I am), here's Siem Reap, the city near Angkor Wat.
| Pub Street, where, you guessed it, booze is to be found. |
| THIS IS CAMBODIA! ARGH! |
| Everybody Dance Now! Duh! Duh! Dun Duh Duh! Aerobics classes! |
| In a temple. |
| The non-touristy side of Siam Reap. |
| Cool kids |
| The bridge from the main city to the artisan drag. |
| An awesome dance show if you get a meal at Temple Bar in Pub Street. |
| The tuk-tuk at Tropical Breeze Guesthouse. |
| A lotus field. Lotus seeds taste really good. |
The night bus from Siam Reap to Phnom Penh was awful, they didn't have a seat for me at first, and then when I finally got a hold of one, it was completely broken. But no sleep would have been had anyway, due to the conditions of the road. Ah well. On to Phnom Penh!
| The Royal Palace where King Sihanouk lived. |
| They had an amazing collection of jewels and treasures on display, I really recommend checking it out! |
| How do I look? |
| Love the intricate fencing! |
| Sharing secrets. |
| At the night market in Phnom Penh - food was amazing! |
| At our hostel - Capitol - $10 bucks a night. |
I'll leave off with this:
| OMMM! |
*Some of these pics were taken by Alix, so woo!
